Wild nature will take center stage on the plates
Under the umbrella title of the spring culinary journey “Wild Nature on a Plate,” participating inns and restaurants will feature dishes on their menus that are based on seasonal wild plants and other local ingredients characteristic of the spring season. This is a continuation of a shared initiative in which restaurateurs collaborate to promote indigenous ingredients, seasonal cuisine, and local gastronomic identity.
The project encourages collaboration among restaurateurs, the exchange of ideas, and the joint promotion of local cuisine, while offering visitors the opportunity to discover the rich flavors of our region throughout the seasons.

Each participating vendor will interpret spring ingredients in their own way and incorporate them into dishes that will offer visitors an authentic culinary experience of our local region.
Joint Promotion of Local Flavors
The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Nova Gorica Regional Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship, with significant promotional support provided by the Nova Gorica and Vipava Valley Tourism Board, the Brda Tourist Information Center, and the Miren Kras Public Institute, which regularly inform the public about the current offerings.
This collaboration among restaurateurs represents an important step toward greater recognition of local gastronomy and the strengthening of cooperation among providers in the region.
Spring Menu Through the End of May
The “Wild Nature on a Plate” menu will be available at participating restaurants through the end of May, making this an excellent opportunity for all food lovers to discover new interpretations of spring ingredients and experience the Goriška region through exceptional cuisine.
