Creative idea

The 'This could be you' poster series aims to inspire and motivate people to explore Slovenia's rich cultural tapestry, from its traditional roots to its vibrant contemporary scene, and from well-known cultural hubs to hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Appealing to both modern and traditional tastes, it can appeal to a wide range of audiences and encourage them to embark on a cultural journey in Slovenia. Experiential motivation is a powerful driving force that can come from the need for emotional connection, adventure and exploration, personal development, fulfilling passions and interests, et cetera. Associating a country with its cultural experiences is a powerful mechanism for establishing itself as a top destination. Social media has revolutionized the way we perceive and interact with the world. Instant access to images and videos from various cultures and destinations can spark our curiosity and desire to explore the world. For example, seeing an Instagram story of a concert in Ljubljana makes us want to be there. Based on the above insight, using images that include people experiencing the cultural world of Slovenia can enhance visitors' positive desire to experience Slovenia up close. Photos showing people enjoying cultural life, local customs and other aspects of Slovenian culture can be a springboard for others and motivate them to want to experience something similar. The orientation of the visuals is vertical, approximating the form of the mobile screen and by extension the 'stories' of the various social media platforms. The message 'This could be you' reinforces the idea that the experience is possible and accessible for everyone. This may encourage even more people to consider Slovenia as a destination for their next trip. It is important to emphasise the accessibility of these sites, promoting the idea that every person can have these experiences.
