Creative idea
School principals and parents of classmates often see autism as a burden, believing that ‘normal’ children suffer because of it. This mindset creates overwhelming despair for parents of autistic children. Instead of receiving support, they are pushed into guilt, as if they owe an apology simply for their child’s presence. Heartbreaking apologies written by parents of autistic children became the foundation of our campaign for the Lithuanian autism association “Children of rain”.
