The Trnovo Forest Plateau offers that and much more. The forests of this magnificent landscape feature many trails that take hikers, mountain runners and cyclists past memorable natural landmarks. There are two popular paraglidiging launch sites, Kovk and Lijak, located on the fringes of the Trnovo Forest Plateu. If you'd like to combine the adrenaline rush with a set of fun challenges, pay a visit to the Soča Fun Park; this high ropes course is set up on the bank of the Soča River in Solkan. A raft will take you across the Soča to the park where adults and children can experience an adrenaline-filled adventure. The bravest can fly down the 300-metre-long zipline that spans the river 40 metres above the river.

During this time, orchards abound with the famous peaches from the Vipava Valley which are a delicious addition to the diversity of flavours of the valley.
