Flavours on the Border

The jubilee 20th edition of the festival will be entirely dedicated to the European Capital of Culture. In addition to the traditional venues in the Italian city of Gorizia, the shared Europe Square will host Flavours without Borders with a unique blend of gastronomy and culture.

Former and future European Capitals of Culture will take centre stage, presenting their traditional dishes, local products, and cultural programmes. Alongside this, the organisers will hold several expert discussions on food and its future. The offer of the wine and culinary festival will be richer than ever. Over the course of four days, from 25 to 28 September, visitors will be able to explore more than 400 stalls from around 50 different countries around the world.

This year’s novelty will be a free shuttle service by bus or tourist train between Europe Square and the centre of Gorizia, making it easier for visitors to reach all festival venues.
