Creative idea

There's something genuinely tricky about explaining Planica to someone who hasn't experienced it firsthand. When you attempt to describe it, you often find yourself saying things like 'It's a world-class ski jumping event, but also…' and then trailing off, because how do you even begin to capture that it's simultaneously about witnessing the pinnacle of athletic achievement, discovering the rich local food scene, forming spontaneous connections with fellow travelers, and being immersed in that stunning alpine setting that takes your breath away? That indefinable 'but also' quality is precisely what makes Planica truly special, and it's something that most events simply can't pull off, no matter how hard they try. This campaign uses Mastercard's iconic logo as its primary visual component as its perfectly overlapping circles represent exactly how different worlds seamlessly meet and merge at Planica. This minimalistic design authentically reflects Mastercard's visual tonality while drawing attention to the magical intersection that defines Planica's essence. That overlap is exactly what makes this destination so unique and compelling. It genuinely offers something meaningful for all kinds of people, creating space for everyone. Hardcore sports enthusiasts, passionate food lovers, curious travelers, and adventure seekers each discover their own perfect place within this experience. Whatever initially brought you there, you'll inevitably find yourself part of a vibrant world where absolutely everyone belongs and feels welcome.
