Mona Opran
Director of Development, Junior Achievement and Business Transformation Consultant, Romania
Mona Opran started her career in communication and business management over 20 years ago. Working both on client and agency side, she accumulated knowledge in communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders, she helped building strong brands and businesses and she managed Cheil Romania transformation in the most challenging times in the communication industry; she also developed collaboration models with other markets, setting up businesses like Big Data Analytics, Publishing and Creative Services in SEE, for clients across the globe.
She was an active member of IAA, UAPR and EACA, supporting in regulating the industry, building mentoring programs and judging work in several competitions. She also had an active role in Effie Europe, being invited in the EuroEffie Steering Committee for redefining the competition categories
Last year Mona started a new journey, in Junior Achievement, one of the world's largest youth-serving organizations, dedicated to giving students the knowledge and skills they need for employment and entrepreneurship.
